Speech Therapy
Speech therapy works on speech and language difficulties which may be associated with a development delay, medical condition or disorder.
Our speech therapists assist with:
- Articulation - Not speaking clearly and/or making errors in pronouncing/forming sounds.
- Fluency - Trouble with the flow of speech, such as stuttering.
- Oral Feeding - Difficulty with eating.
Occupational Therapy
Occupational therapy works on development of fine motor skills such as the ability to grasp and release which affects handwriting. Our occupational therapists assist with:
- Effectively completing basic activities of daily living, such as bathing, getting dressed, brushing teeth and feeding.
- Improving hand-eye coordination which affects skills needed in school and during play. These are activities such as copying a word or kicking a ball.
- Learning positive behaviors and social skills by practicing how they manage frustration and anger.
Physical Therapy
Physical therapy works on range of motion, strength, flexibility and movements (gross motor). These skills involve large muscle groups which are involved in walking, throwing, standing and even turning your body.
